SGAMS Rockets to Victory at National Competition

Six students from Spring Grove Area Middle School soared to success at the Battle of the Rockets competition in Culpeper, Virginia. Competing against middle schools, high schools, and even universities from across the country, the team took home impressive finishes in two challenging events. Congratulations!

Spring Grove Mini-THON Students Raise $77,425.18

Congratulations to all the students who participated and made a difference in their community! Thank you to our Mini-THON advisors, Ms. Loni Kress, Ms. Shelby Boone, Ms. Laura Triantafyllou, and the Mini-THON Leadership Team for making this event a success! Our community’s total contribution since 2003 has been $1,389,155.35 for Four Diamonds at Penn State Children's Hospital.

The designation is a testament to the District's outstanding commitment to music education, which is made possible by our dedicated music teachers, students, supportive staff, Music Boosters, and our Rocket community. 

U.S. News Best High School Award

Spring Grove Area High School received the 2024-2025 U.S. News Best High School Award. SGAHS proudly ranks in the top 27% in the state and the top 28% in the nation.

Spring Grove Area School District was awarded the 2025 Niche Best Schools designation. Niche offers K-12 school rankings by state based on stats, test scores, and school ratings.

Spring Grove Area School District staff and substitutes have access to a dedicated health center in the district with 24/7 access to a primary care provider. The Rocket Wellness Center represents a tremendous opportunity to improve the general health of our community through easier access to care that will be free or low cost for the employee and spend fewer taxpayer dollars.
