STEAM Meets Thanksgiving Magic in Mrs. Schaffer’s Lab
The spirit of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade came to life in Mrs. Schaffer’s STEAM Lab, where students blended creativity and technology to recreate the iconic event.
As part of a unique project, students designed their own parade floats and wrote code for Sphero robots to act as drivers, guiding the floats along a festive parade route. To make the scene even more authentic, they constructed storefronts to line the path, bringing the holiday celebration to life.
This engaging project provided a fun and educational way for students to apply engineering and programming skills while embracing the joy of the season.
